If you wish to prolong your Yukon experience, and make it a memorable one, an overnight stay at The Country Cabins is a must. There are four authentic cabins themed around women of the Gold Rush era. Since 1988, the cabins have accommodated thousands of guests from around the world. Our small family-operated business is nestled in the woods between the Yukon Wildlife Preserve and the Takhini Hotsprings, approximately 28 kilometres / 17.5 miles from downtown Whitehorse and the International Airport.

Each cabin has a bed with a double-sized box spring and mattress, cotton-flannel sheets, and a down comforter. The cabins are also furnished with kerosene lamps and a wood stove that give the cabin its charming aura. A futon couch can be transformed into another double bed to accommodate two more people. Each cabin has it's own outhouse and a quaint pitcher and bowl for wash-up.

Sit on the deck and enjoy the simple sounds and sights of nature. It is not uncommon to see mule deer, red foxes, coyotes, snowshoe hares, squirrels and chipmunks wandering in the woods nearby. The Country Cabins are open 365 days a year, so in the winter months, guests may experience the Northern Lights that often light up the sky above the cabins.
